Francois P. Ferreira
Chief Operating Officer
Francois (BEng Mech, CFA) has thirty years’ of business development experience. He is a specialist in early-stage business developments with wide-ranging operational and investments experience.Francois has a successful track record as an engineer (Anglo American); investment banker (Deutsche Bank); investor and owner/developer in a wide range of businesses, including mining, IT and healthcare.
He has extensive business development experience in different cultures and contexts, including the UK, Asia, Central Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Christopher James Charter
Production Manager Cultivation
Having acquired a wealth of experience in multiple Agriculture spheres Christopher James Charter brings to MG Health Lesotho diverse expertise of project management and managing retail logistics for commercially grown plants.Christopher has Managed a number of notable companies around Africa and sat as chairman of very prominent growers Associations.
He has intense training and exposure in Economics, project design and management in Agriculture; and has developed and managed key accounts across these industries. Christopher’s experience in cultivation and distribution of commercial grown plants comes at a well needed time when MG Health Lesotho transforms into its second phase.
Robert completed his internship as a pharmacist in Johannesburg before moving to Technikon Laboratories, a pharmaceutical contract manufacturer where he spent the next 22 years as MD. He gained broad experience from manufacturing as the sole pharmacist, to managing a large, modern pharmaceutical business with a PICs GMP approved, 14 000 m3 plant, that employed 200 people and serviced over 40 pharmaceutical customers.
After selling his interest in Technikon in a trade sale, Robert moved to Eurolab ASU, which performs aseptic manipulation of sterile oncology preparations.
As Chief Pharmasist, Robert guided the business towards being GMP accreditation and recognition as a world class aseptic unit within two years. The process included the establishment of protocols and implementing QA systems for a comprehensive microbiological testing laboratory, stability testing facilities with the required people, process and product flows.
Chief Operating Officer
Lebo started his career in banking gaining operational experience and held senior roles in corporate banking and corporate finance. He then moved into the IT world as an entrepreneur and business development expert. Lebo has successfully established and managed new ventures from conceptualization to maturity.
In his previously role before joining MG Health he founded and was CEO of vehicle tracking business.
Retšepile J. Elias
Founder and executive director of Nala Capital Advisors, Retsepile has held many board- level positions in various organisations and brings diverse experience to the organisation. Previously MD of African Alliance Lesotho, an asset management firm, Retsepile oversaw the rapid accumulation of capital for the firm.

Kasief Isaacs is a qualified chartered accountant with a specific focus on energy, technology, and infrastructure. He has in excess of 20 years experience in managing projects and leading teams – spanning several countries, multiple time zones, and languages.
Kasief has executed numerous advisory mandates for local and foreign developers, investors and contractors focused on the SA renewable energy market. His experience and knowledge are highly valued by his colleagues at the fund management company, Mergence.
Steve is the VP Corporate Affairs and Corporate Secretary of The Supreme Cannabis Company.
He is an experienced corporate executive and advisor, having served as a senior advisor to boards and senior management of major companies in the US, Canada, and the UK in the areas of corporate strategy, performance assessment, corporate governance, and executive remuneration.
Steve has significant experience and knowledge of the cannabis industry and serves on several cannabis-related boards in the UK and Asia. He also serves as an adjunct faculty at York University teaching on corporate governance matters.
Melani (MSc.Pharm; MBL) joined MG Health in June 2019 as Responsible Pharmacist/Qualified Person and is currently based at the MG Health Manufacturing Facility in Lesotho. Melani has 33 years experience covering many disciplines in the pharmaceutical space: as an owner of retail pharmacies, managing the export of pharmaceuticals into Africa, running divisions of local and international companies, and heading-up a regulatory department. In her previous position prior to joining MG Health she managed process and equipment validations, gained experience in HVAC qualifications, conducted training, dossier updates and tutored Pharmacist Assistants.
Chief Financial Officer
B.Com. & Dipl. Fin. Law. Director (Finance) and NED roles in the packaging, fruit cultivation, medical biologicals, asset management & specialised industrial services. Experienced in financial, governance, compliance and secretarial roles in small and medium enterprises and has held directorships in state owned corporations.

Manfred Boensch (Nat. Diploma Microbiology) is a highly experienced and skilled Quality Manager, with over 25 Years, experience in implementing and sustaining a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Quality Management System (QMS) in the Pharmaceutical Industry (PIC/s, WHO).
Manfred mentored Post Graduate Students with sample preparations, and other duties in pursuit of their Honours, Masters and Doctorate degrees in the departments of Microbiology and Pharmacy.
In 2002 Manfred was employed by WRAPSA (Pty) Ltd as Quality Control Manager and promoted to Quality Assurance Manager in 2004.
During his employment at WRAPSA, Manfred attended several Quality and Auditing courses, including the Implementation and Auditing of ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 management systems.
Manfred joined MG Health Limited in December of 2019 in the position as Quality Assurance Manager.
