Why Lesotho? A question we often get.
Lesotho introduced legislation to legalise the cultivation and use of medical Cannabis in 2008 under the Lesotho Drugs of Abuse Act – one of the first Southern African Countries to do this.
A high-altitude site in the Lesotho mountains, and the pristine natural environment, with dry air, clean water and no risk of airborne pesticides or chemical contamination means that Lesotho is very well suited to grow medical Cannabis. It has an abundance of contaminant-free soils, clean water and extensive sunshine year-round.
